Derwents Darjeeling presents a refined black tea experience with distinctive character. The dried leaves, from Darjeeling, India, brew into a pale gold liquor with copper highlights, delivering a delicate yet gently astringent cup. This tea is renowned for its signature Muscatel notes—a floral quality that evokes wine-like complexity—complemented by subtle hints of currant.
How To Brew
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 250-300ml in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
