Hojicha Matcha

Hojicha Matcha is a premium Japanese roasted green tea that transforms the traditional matcha experience. Unlike standard green tea, the leaves are carefully roasted to develop a distinctive light reddish-brown hue and complex flavor profile. Expect a smooth, naturally sweet cup with full-bodied character—toasty notes blend seamlessly with hints of caramel, cinnamon, and cocoa, while earthy undertones add depth. The roasting process eliminates the bitterness typical of green tea, leaving behind a refined, nutty finish.
How to Create: Bring water to a rolling boil and let cool to roughly 82'C. Place approximately half-to-full teaspoon of Matcha in your bowl. Slowly whisk with around 100ml of water, add more or less depending on preference, pour into your cup and enjoy. Perfect hot, with milk, and/or over ice.
How To Brew
Bring filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 250-300ml in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 3-7 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time the stronger the tea).
